Journey Through the Melodies of Hindustani Classical Music

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Nishad Chitale, was surrounded by the enchanting sounds of Hindustani classical music from a young age.With a family deeply rooted in musical traditions, it was no surprise that Nishad developed a profound passion for music early on.

Nishads’ initial training was under the guidance of Shri Divyang Thakore who laid the foundation of his musical journey.Eager to delve deeper into the intricacies of Hindustani classical music, Nishad pursued advanced training under the mentorship of Mrunmayee Phathak (Disciple of Sanjeev Abhyankar), a distinguished maestro of the Mewati Gharana.

Our Teacher

Mrunmayee Phatak

Mrunmayee Siknis-Phatak is a playback singer and classical vocal artist having travelled the wonderful musical journey right from the age of six. Although still she thinks the real journey is yet to begin; the journey to enthrall her audience with a voice she has earned through passion, dedication and hard work. As children normally played with musical toys, it was a sparking differentiation when she held a real harmonium and hummed.

She decided to make a career in singing and thus simultaneously started taking classes in the age of 14 and earned a distinction. She enrolled in Arts stream to pursue a degree in Classical Music, she is standing first in University for Bachelor of Arts with Classical Music as principal subject.

During her master’s she won First prize in Classical Vocal in West zone Youth festival – Ujjain, first prize in Hindustani Classical vocal conducted at Dr. Gadagkar Karandak, second prize in Classical Vocal category in All India Radio Music Competition, First Prize in Classical Vocal in Rastriya Yuva Mahotsav and Gaanhira puraskar awarded by S.N.D.T university for standing first in M.A Music.

Determining to be versatile in music she took guidance in semi-classical music, with hard earned flexible voice, she has made a mark in semi-classical music by lending her voice. Mrunmayee gave her voice for Marathi film Anya and Anumati and have given her voice for private albums.

Sahil Parmar

Sahil is a multitalented enthusiam person who plays Sitar guitar harmonium Mandolin and sings as well.

He took talim of classical music from his Guru ‘Shri Rajan Shukla ji’ last 7 years and is performing here in a such a short time today because of his Guru excellent training and blessings.

He bagged first prize in Classical Instrumental solo for Sitar in youth festival during three consecutive years 2019, 2022 and 2023 also got first prize at state level of Kala Mahakumbh competition in 2022.

As a academic side he has master degree in mechanical production line and also was working last 3 years as a teacher in samutkarsh music yoga and Holistic living Academy. Classical Based…
